Autumn Qigong Series
Fridays (October 2-23) at 10am | Grateful Yoga; Evanston (or Online Zoom)
Qigong is a Chinese healing art that combines breathing, gentle movement, visualization, and focused intention to cultivate and circulate qi (life-force energy). This nourishing practice helps revitalize the body, calm the mind, and support overall well-being. Our practice includes continuous flowing movements, gentle tapping to awaken the body's meridian system, and guided meditative imagery inspired by the rhythms and wisdom of nature.
Lisa created this four-week Autumn Qigong Series to support you in entering the season of reflection, release, and balance. In Traditional Chinese medicine, Autumn is associated with the Lungs and Large Intestine; organs connected with breathing deeply, strengthening immunity, and letting go of what no longer serves us. This makes Fall an ideal time to cultivate strong Lung Qi and prepare the respiratory and immune systems for the colder months ahead.
Each class builds upon the previous week, creating a progressive journey through the season. You'll deepen your understanding of the movements, refine your practice, and gradually cultivate greater ease, vitality, and inner stillness while aligning with the energetic qualities of Autumn.
Cost: $115 for the full four-week series / $35 drop-in / Sustaining Members save 15%
